Happy Halloween: Princess Mononoke
"You cannot alter your fate. However, you can rise to meet it."
I only recently watched Princess Mononoke, and it was beautiful. Bloody and brutal for an anime, but packed with thoughtful insight into human nature.
San, the wolf princess known as Princess Mononoke is fierce, loyal, and independent. She fights valiantly for her beloved forest and wolves. I had so much fun dressing up as her and taking on her persona. I've always daydreamed of being a warrior of some kind, and Princess Mononoke embodies that for me.
