OOTD: Hot Red Heels
Nothing like a pair of hot red heels to really set an outfit off, am I right?
I really need to get more use out of these tall shoes in my closet, and with school out and there no longer being a need to dash from one side of campus to the other, I've been luxuriating in the fact that I can wear tall shoes whenever I please.
Now I know this outfit has a lot going on, but I feel as if it still somehow works. It's a bit busier than I'd prefer, but I rolled with it. Tapping into my bohemian side, I busted out the ole fringe bag from Rue 21 and did some print mixing with this striped dress and thrifted kimono jacket thingy. Isn't it glorious?? I typically veer away from boldly patterned items, but this was too gorgeous to walk away from!
The summer heat is going to force me to start shedding layers though. The day after we took these photos we entered triple digits for the highs, so you can find me sprawled out on the tile floor of my kitchen in booty shorts and an oversized tank top. Because comfort will always be key before fashion when it's 103 degrees...
