OOTD // The Wanderess Dress
I've found a niche of woods nearby that will probably be a recurring setting for upcoming blog posts.
There's something about putting on a pretty dress and meandering through trees that's just incredibly romantic, isn't it?
This is my latest piece from Shein, and if you remember my review on a certain red coat from them (HERE), you know my opinion of them is several notches above most companies that are similar. This dress (find it HERE) met those expectations and went even further!
First off, I adore the print and color palette. The floral pattern is perfect for my upcoming seasonal switch to bohemian themed styles (you know it's coming, it always does with the warming weather).
Secondly, it's a flowy fit, which ensures my not-so-narrow waist fits comfortably. It seems to be made sturdily enough and not as if one of the seams is about to rip (which is common with other wholesale companies' clothing).
Thirdly, LOOK AT THAT NECKLINE! Ugh, I'm obsessed with the deep V paired with the buttoned clasp at the throat. Like what? Such juxtaposition there, and it works beautifully!
However, I kept it suitable for winter by throwing on this thick duster-length vest I thrifted a while ago and added some fleece lined tights. With my thigh high boots, I was perfectly warm for a little wandering in the woods.
Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice; let the sea roar, and all that fills it; let the field exult, and everything in it! Then shall all the trees of the forest sing for joy
Psalm 96:11-12
