REVIEW // Purad'or Hair Care

Hello everyone, and welcome to another round of reviewing!

Now, who else has heard about Purad'or? I had heard some mention of the brand before they got in contact with me about reviewing some of their products. I decided to give it a go.

Now, one of my friends, who has extremely fine hair, was baffled as to why I would use this product. As you can see, the main push of this particular shampoo bottle they sent is encouraging the growth of thicker hair. Which I have plenty of, trust me. However, since going ombre, my hair has suffered some serious damage and the ends are absolutely fried. 

I'm also a huge fan of all-natural based ingredients, which Purad'or is a proud supporter of as well. Their shampoo and conditioner have an unusual texture because of this, which a lot of people who have reviewed these have noticed. You know why that is, right? It's because the generic shampoo and condition we usually buy is pumped full of chemicals to create a marketed product we are accustomed to and start to demand. Possible carcinogen and hormone disrupter, diethyl phthalate (DEP), helps hair products hold fragrance. Sodium lauryl sulfate makes shampoo foam up, but it irritates skin and can cause cancer! 

Seriously guys, everything is trying to kill us now because we refuse to accept what's been placed on this earth in its natural state and instead corrupt it.

ANYWAY! Purad'or is a brand that promotes the use of premium, organic ingredients in all of their products! It makes me feel a lot better about what I'm scrubbing into my scalp!

First up, Purad'or's very own Argan Oil treatment. While I've seen a number of these type of bottles floating around, I've never actually tried argan oil for myself. Since bleaching my hair, it was high time I invested in it though - it's an extremely moisturizing oil that can be used on your nails, skin, and hair! Every time I step out of the shower I use about five drops of this product and rub it though my hair, focusing on the ends. In the two months I've made this a part of my routine, I've noticed my extremely damaged ends softening. It's incredible! I was sure I'd bleached it past the point of no return, but this little guy is a miracle worker.

How many of you thick-haired girls shed enough hair to build a human sized snowman every time you shower? That was me a couple months ago. However, since using this Anti-Hair Loss Shampoo from Purad'or, I've noticed my hair art in the shower has become less dense. While there's certainly still some fallout (because it's impossible not to!), it's nice to see it's not as bad as it used to be. 

As far as scent goes, I actually love this one! I use about five pumps of this shampoo to cover all of my hair, and a soft hint of tea tree oil fills the air. Mmmmm, it's so refreshing! It actually makes me think of my lola, because that was the oil she used while doing massages. 

Next up, the Healing Conditioner!
Now, the scent for this one is not nearly as pleasant. It's definitely not the sugared up vanilla version we've become accustomed to, and it's noticeable. However it's quite moisturizing, which my dead ends appreciate. I focus the majority of this conditioner on my ends, because that's what needs it the most! While my bleached tips are still damaged, I've noticed a softening in their frizzy, fried ends. Seriously, this stuff works! Combined with the Argon Oil, you can call this my secret for healthy looking hair!

If you're looking to invest in some higher quality hair products, I highly recommend Purad'or!
Their mission statement sums it up pretty well:

Now that's a formula I'll happily spend a little extra more on!
My bottles are starting to reach the bottom, and I'm definitely going to be placing my own order soon.
