MUSIC MONDAY // The Young Wild

I listened to this band last weekend when I saw ZZ Ward live (I'll have a concert review soon, promise!), but her opening acts were worth arriving early!

The Young Wild is a band I hadn't heard before, but I'm already a fan. They've got a great sound, and you should definitely check out their new single, Not A One.

What's frustrating is that, as of now, it's the only released song from them. They had so many good ones that they performed though, and I'm excited to see them grow!

Plus, the drummer's beard is just...sigh.
I may have been making heart eyes at him throughout the whole concert. Hehehehe.

Great band, great music!
Be sure to check them out on Facebook and Instagram, because this is a band to keep an eye on.

Happy Monday!

Oooh, I really like the beat of this song--it's very chill but still very strong. I'm always impressed by your taste in music and how you're always discovering cool new tracks.

As for some of your recent posts, I really resonated with your light quote and design--it caught my attention as soon as I saw it on instagram. I like how you interpret it in two ways--one, in terms of opinion, and the other, in terms of self-glorification. It makes plenty of sense--to let our own light shine, we don't need to extinguish the beams of others. We can have totally differing views and wavelengths, but we can coexist as long as we're not infringing upon others' safety. For the other interpretation, your point about social media is so valid--I really admire the people who can live such meaningful lives and be so humble about it. I, too, wish to live a life full of humble purpose, maximizing each opportunity for God.

Anyways, you've really been looking killer lately, Linda! I loved that edgy boho look with the duster vest and fringe bag, as well as your throwback summer look with that graphic tee. Way to go to be clear about how you felt with that classmate--while it may be difficult for anyone to be turned down at first, it's much better to do it earlier than later.

Also, your layout is looking killer! I'm so proud of you for taking the reins on that.

Wishing you the best!
