MUSIC MONDAY // Ryan Adam's 1989

In case you missed the memo, indie artist Ryan Adams decided to cover Taylor Swift's entire 1989 album, and it's glorious. I love a good cover, and personally, I adore his version.

It's always interesting to hear a familiar song get a new spin, and if you want to imagine T Swift's album redressed with acoustic guitars, a wide brim hat, and hipster glasses, this is it.

Take a listen to his cover of All You Had to Do Was Stay and I Know Places, and feel free to listen to the rest of the album on Youtube!

What do you think? Do you like this take on 1989?

Happy Monday!

The fanverse has been raving over this record and I'm not ashamed to say that I have been, too. I think Ryan Adams did a fantastic job at reinventing 1989! Plus, it doesn't hurt that Tay has been obsessing over it too, can it?!
