REVIEW + OOTD // I Got My Eyes On You

Necklace: c/o Twinkle Deals
Sweater & Jacket: F21   Jeans: PacSun   Boots: Just Fab   Glasses: c/o Firmoo
How funky is this eyeball necklace guys? It's from Twinkle Deals, and I'm keeping it in rotation as one of my go-to jewelry pieces solely because of how quirky and eye-catching it is (haha, see what I did there?). Plus, it's super affordable! Less than $3? Um, yes please.

I wore this outfit a week or so ago when we were experiencing unusual weather consisting of grey skies and chilly winds. Hey, gotta milk the black skinny jeans and leather jackets for all they're worth! I'm trying to remember what summer dressing is like for me. I'm bringing back my bohemian style slowly but surely!

As for life lately, I got my old job back (another barista gig) in town, and I'm already working on picking up more shifts and getting back into the flow. While the time off from both work and school was amazing (I have a trip from Yellowstone I'll need to share soon!), it's time to roll up my sleeves and start saving up money and preparing for next semester! This summer will certainly be filled with adventures and fun though, and I'm happy to keep blogging and share it all with you!

Ear Cuff: c/o Twinkle Deals
Oh, and real quick, I should complete my review of Twinkle Deals and mention the third and final piece I received from them (you can check out my review and OOTD post on one of their summery tops here). The ear cuff pictured above looks pretty sweet, right?'s not. With a simple flick of your hair and too quick of a turn, it'll fly right off. It's not designed well and is not functional at all. The only thing I could find use for it was as a delicate prop in these photos (which you can check more out in this post).

Thank you all for your continued support and visiting my blog! I know I haven't been replying or commenting as consistently as I used to, and I do apologize for that. I took a short break to focus on more immediate things (moving, catching up with friends, and getting a job), but then it became longer than I intended. Not sure what happened there! I'm easing back into it though, so you should be hearing from me soon.

Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
Hebrews 13:5

it's only normal that you have to do stuff which doesn't involve internet. getting a job is definitely more important than worrying about blogging :) first things first, right? oh and I just have to say I love that outfit of yours! it's so fierce and sharp. I love the jacket, those boots, the red top, everything! really awesome!

I love the necklace! It seems pretty strongly middle-eastern inspired, as the eye (called cheshm in Farsi) is worn to fend off the evil eye (jealousy, etc)!
Also, haha I feel like our little breaks from social media coincided as I also just took some time off--it's totally necessary and feels really refreshing! We'll always be here when you return! ;)

Oh man, sucks that the ear cuff isn't quality made, it looks exceptional *_* And with the dark lip color, awesome!
Love the outfit here, so bad ass rocker chic. Don't worry about blogging and commenting, I've been the same, took me almost a whole week to catch up with other blogs, phew! :D

Oh I love the look of the ear cuff but it's annoying that it can't really stay on the ear like it's supposed to! Well done on getting your barista job back, can we look forward to some coffee-related posts in the coming months? :) You look awesome btw, jeans and jackets are still the regular attire here too - it's not warm enough for dresses with no cardigans yet!

So... those studded boots are pretty sweet. Good luck with your new (old) job.

P.S. Love that you end your posts with Bible verses. xoxo

Never feel bad for a blog break! Life happens :)

I like your outfit - the red is nice with all the black! :)

Shame that the earpiece didn't work out, but great that you like the necklace.
