Troll Under the Bridge

Guess who found a spot to get photos at?? That's right, your girl came through. Haha, what's more is that my mom came to visit me! So we had a day together where I showed her around campus, took her to cute, local eateries, and of course, grabbed photos at my new go-to spot. It's a bridge that's located right off a trail by the college, and is just enough out of the way I could comfortably bring my tripod and get photos myself when I need to. So all in all, it was a good day.
Of course, I'll still probably make an indoor, photo wall area designated for taking outfit photos inside...sometimes it just gets too cold to deal with the hassle of looking put together while simultaneously being frozen to death.

I've deduced that my closet can be shrunk down to three colors: black, white, and maroon. I'm also developing a certain affection for navy, but it has yet to make prominence in my wardrobe. With all the fantastic shopping that's available in Boise, I've been building up a wardrobe I truly love. Not to mention that since I've developed a clearer vision of what I like, and a coordinating color palette in my closet, making outfits has never been easier!
Anyway, thanks for all the positive feedback on my last post!
Can I just say how amazing it is to reflect and see how so many doors have been opened since moving? For instance, last year I was able to find a new roommate and friend in Dallas. She introduced me to my current roommate, and that's how I found out about this awesome house I'm living in now. Then my job as a barista at Moxie Java was divinely planted in my life last March, because it just so happened that the Moxie Java here was hiring right when I moved to the city. Not only do I have experience making coffee, it was the exact same chain. So I'm going in already knowing special drink names, measurements, and everything! Though I didn't know it at the time, it was as if I was being prepped for this move. It just makes me feel all the more confident and hopeful for what's to unfold during my time here.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.

I love your pictures, all of them are crystal clear and I can hardly believe that you're taking the pics all by yourself using a tripod. Made me realize that I can take outfit photos of myself too! :) I also love your ensemble, the maroon, the black, the white and the little hearts, these details are just too cute not to mention. Also the verse you've shared is so inspiring, my go-to verse when feeling swayed.
Stay gorgeous babe and keep in touch always.

Away From The Blue
Well, there's no problem with these being the colours of your closet - they all look amazing on you! Especially that maroon sweater. And I love the mix of the fun tights with the classic plaid coat, very whimsical.
Yay for family visiting! I've never lived anywhere very far from my family but I'm sure if I did I would be oh-so-ecstatic if one of them were to visit me. :D
Haha you don't look like a troll, but I appreciate the clever name of your post. I love your layers and colors! I agree, I do see a lot of maroon on you, but it always looks amazing so I don't complain. ;)

lovely look! :)
Ok, the black hair is looking AMAZING on you - you look like a model in these shots! It's really striking on you, it shows off your eyes and it works so well with your makeup looks. (Man, I need to get a Mac lipstick, they always look really nice on you.) This is a really cool spot to shoot pictures but it looks pretty chilly outside!
i really adore the happy vibe of this post!! it's so nice how you already figured out what clothes you like and match your style! hope to see photos of your campus soon!
the outfit is stylish as usual! black + maroon = chic!
