Spooky Eyes Review: Bionic Strength

Bionic Lenses: c/o Spooky Eyes |
Not in the way you wake up on a chilly winter morning either. She felt no urge to wrap a blanket around her icy skin tighter. Instead, she embraced the inhumane chill. Her iron bones lifted her up from her mirror mattress, and she heard the snap of shattered glass.
Oops.
That's what happens when you're bionic!
So before I moved (and cut my hair, because you can obviously see the old, red sheen and length in these photos - next post I should have my new cut featured), I had a chance to take photos indoors with a shattered mirror.

I was sent these stunning contact lenses from Spooky Eyes (whom are rapidly becoming my favorite colored/wacky contact lens store!) and had a little fun creating a theme around them. These are the Bionic pair, and they can punch up your look with a robotic flair. The makeup I did turned out so well, I couldn't bear to wash it off right after taking photos, so I kept it on for a few hours of running errands...
I swear, every cashier that checked me out was giving me double takes and wary looks, like I was going to rob the store. I'd be lying if I said it wasn't amusing...
These were comfortably suctioned to my eyeballs for about 5 hours before I felt the urge to take them out. The dryness was causing my eyes to redden!
Overall, they're a decent pair of colored contacts. Also, I realized I love to paint on my face. Creating the cyborg effect with my eyeliner made me think about all the other types of designs I could draw.
What would you like me to try next for a makeup look?

Whoa, Linda! I'm completely enthralled by these stunningly creative photos and your futuristic look. I also really enjoyed the artsy intro. Huge props to you for rocking those contacts and that makeup in public! I admire your courage and sense of self. I would've love to see people's expressions :)
Also, I can't wait to see more shots of your hair!! I'm glad you found chopping as empowering as I did.
Your article on collegefashion was on point as well. Congrats on this opportunity! I loved the first outfit especially--sweet and classic with a twist.
Best of luck as you continue to settle in!

Ooooooh!
You are so good at these looks, I love how you pulled this off! To be honest, if I saw someone with crazy cool makeup like this in the market, I'd probably stare as well - it's really awesome looking. The blue is so striking on you and the little lines in the contacts is kinda startling. I'm so impressed with this, I really have been enjoying these posts, you're so creative!
I know you mentioned wanting to dye your hair black and as someone who's done the black dye, I'd sujest going for a really dark brown first. I did black noir and it ended up looking very goth with a lot of blue and it's really hard to dye your hair any color after that. I go with a really dark, chocolate brown now, you can't see a difference between the two in photos because it all looks black but the darker brown is a lot softer looking in real life and it's easier to work with if you want to try other stuff down the road. I do think it would look really good on you, you have such a fabulous skin tone that any color would look good!
Damn, you have no idea what this is doing to my nerdy brain and love for everything sci fi and weird! :D This is amazing! Reminds me of an anime I absolutely love "Ergo Proxy". OMG, love this!!!!!!
This is so creative, Linda! And you look so pretty, you make the bionic eyes look pretty, not scary =)

Oh man, these photos are awesome and dude, I need those lenses in my life. Wish they would feel comfortable for longer though - are they just non-prescription?
Also, sick make-up skills.
