I've become addicted to lipsticks. Particularly my Russian Red tube from MAC. That is one gorgeous color. If I wear it, I often feel as if it's the only makeup I need to brighten up my face.
So, when in doubt, wear red!
For the longest time, I would avoid putting any emphasis on my lips, due to thinking they were far too thin to even be thought of as attractive. It was better to shun them, and instead put the focus on features I was more confident in, such as my eyes.
However, it's only lately that I've decided to eradicate that old thinking and have since discovered a love for every bold shade of lipstick. The darker and bolder, the better! I just bought this deep, purple hued lipstick the other day, and I'm dying to give it a test drive. I'll have to post photos if it turns out well!
Isn't it funny how much you can hold yourself back?
For example, the lipstick thing. It was my own self consciousness that prevented me from taking a chance with something as simple as makeup. I'd like to think I'm slowly finding these mental barriers I've carried around with me and shattering each one.
Even if it's something as silly as makeup.

I think it's great, trying out new things. I'm also into bright coloured lipsticks. You look great in this outfit and the pop of red with the tights looks really cool, although I'm not a tights person except when I don't have a choice in the winter months but I usually go for black. I love the pops of red! Really cute how it's sprinkled throughout your look :) It's great to try out something new. But for the meantime, I'll be keeping my lips bare. Maybe it'll change in the future though!

Hello! "When in doubt, wear red" is a good moto to go by. I love the color red and I find that it is actually a really versatile color. Like your outfit, it can be great to add a pop of red to a black and white outfit. Or adding a red lip to an outfit can really make it perfect. Anyway, I love this a lot! Yes! I need the emoji with both hands praising the title of this post! Red is always a good idea. I actually have a dark plum color that I just pat on my lips and mix with lip balm to add some extra color. I definitely need to just wear it on full blast.
