REVIEW // Happiness Boutique & Newdress
|Necklace: c/o Happiness Boutique|
|Hello all, and welcome back to my blog! This past week was a marvelous getaway to the Oregon coast, and I now realize I am not meant to remain landlocked forever. I'll be sharing a travel post soon featuring a few of the |
However, with school starting up in a couple weeks (ugh), prepare for several "bad blogger" moments. School, social life, and blogging full time can be a hectic schedule. So forgive me, but I'm planning on backing off on the social media a bit in the upcoming months. If there's anything this week-long hiatus taught me, it's that it's best to live in the moment and not worry about photographing/blogging every moment.
Albeit, ironically, I'm planning on putting together a vlog of our Oregon road trip...hehe, so keep an eye out for that ;)

Today I'm featuring this stunning necklace from Happiness Boutique! I don't know if you've heard about them yet, but they're a jewelry line with the positive goal of spreading joy and glee through their products. When I opened the box containing this necklace, a buzz of excitement shot through me as I peered down at this stunning statement piece. Yup, Happiness Boutique certainly nailed the happy part! As an international store spreading the joy that comes with wearing a special little accessory, I can happily promote them and let you know that their shop is worth the visit!
I'm wearing their Urban Chic Statement Necklace, and man, I already know I'll be pairing it with everything. Although I do have a similar necklace from Shoplately (remember this gem?), I would have to say I prefer this one from Happiness Boutique. While each necklace holds a particular quality that can amplify an outfit, I like the grungier tinge to this one. It's a little bolder, a little tougher, and a lot more my style.
Also, like the duster length trench I'm wearing? While not exactly practical for any really cold weather situations, it adds a pretty, stylish touch to a neutral outfit. It's an item from Newdress, a wholesale style store, so you can guess it's level of quality. I'm not saying you should buy this if you're looking to invest in something that'll last. However, if you want a quick and affordable piece to wear for the season, definitely check it out!
Same goes for their sunglasses. While their clothing is fairly cheap and not the highest quality, I find that their sunglasses look really good and are actually fairly durable! These reflective mirrored sunnies are my new favorite accessories for sure!
Hopefully I'll be updating you more throughout the next few weeks, but I intend to keep things more balanced once school starts. Maybe I'll post once a week, maybe I won't. I may not comment as consistently and thoroughly as I used to, but that doesn't mean I've stopped visiting your blogs. Life happens, and I'm realizing it's best to live in it instead of through a screen.
Hope you all have had a lovely start to your week! And if not...well, just remember that you made it through today, and it's one less day to worry about.
