Sample Society: April Sample Box

A couple months ago, I came across some reviews on Beauty Bar and their Sample Society partnership with Allure. Basically, for $15 a month, you receive a box of samples chosen by beauty experts. The products they send out are typically high end and of good quality. I received a box last month, and I find the samples to be fairly generous in portion. Occasionally you get full size products too!
I decided to start doing reviews on these boxes, if only to keep track of what I receive and what products are best. Besides, I find these types of posts interesting on other blogs, and I'd like to expand my blog's variety as well! So without further ado, let's get to it.
The Subscription: Sample Society
Price: $15
Bonus: Every month, you get a $15 off coupon of a $50 order that contains a product from any of the brands in your box!
Remember when I said occasionally you get full sized items? I got lucky in scoring this full sized, pretty eyeliner. It goes on a pretty, deep plum color that's perfect for switching up your typical day liner or perhaps using for a special occasion. It has good staying power, which is impressive for a pencil eyeliner. I've relied so heavily on liquid for lasting throughout the day, but this holds its own.
Another full sized product! The 30 oil blotting sheets are definitely going to come in handy for the quickly warming weather. I really love the packaging and can testify that they work fantastic!
Dermalogica PreCleanse Wipes (2) - $2
These are great little travel swipes I plan on packing for any roadtrips I may take. They'll work perfectly for removing makeup, dirt, oil, etc.
Also included in each month's sample box is a mini magazine by Allure showcasing that month's trends in beauty. It's such a cute little touch!

Overall, I'm satisfied with my monthly subscription, and in summary, I paid $15 for approximately $47 worth of items! Talk about getting the most bang for your buck.

you had me at the title already. Thanks for sharing this Linda, I think I should be a member of Sample Society as well because I'm not the type of girl who knows how to buy beaty prodcuts. This is a great way to for me to know more about them then. Please do share more about the products you receive here! =)

Looks like a nice box although I'm not really in to these boxes, especially cosmetics. I usually buy more or less the same ones that seem to work really well on my skin. Seems like a good buy though.

Full size? Lucky indeed. I think $15 is pretty good for a beauty box. This should be a great partnership.
