3 Ways to Wear a Cut Out Bodycon Dress for Day

When approached by Dressale to do a cooperation with them, I saw an opportunity to expand the type of posts I made on my blog and exercise my creativity. Plus, it fits into my blog's style perfectly. My "homework" is to create a post based around this dress:
It's a seductive little number, with a bodycon fit and some strategically placed cut outs and mesh panels. It's not for the self conscious, that's for sure! It's easy to picture wearing this for a night out on the town. So for today's post, I'm challenging myself to create three different ways you could wear this dress for day!

Look 1: Bohemian
Bodycon1
I've been rather inspired by the Coachella photos I've spotted, and since I'm naturally drawn towards a bohemian look anyway, this was the first style I thought of. A fringe kimono is on my wish list, preferably a pretty floral print one. Finish with some gladiator sandals, cool sunnies, and a practical cross body bag for a day of music festivity. Complete it with a pretty side braid, and you're good to go.

Look 2: Sporty
Bodycon2
Here's another way to tone down this overtly sexy dress - try giving it a sporty makeover! Nothing like a varsity jacket and some cool Converse to do the trick. Try it with a high ponytail and some Raybans, and you'll be looking perfectly cool yet casual.

Look 3: Preppy
Bodycon3
To add a polished vibe to a night time dress, try giving it a preppy touch with a cozy cardigan and some pointy toed flats. These colorblocked ones are a perfect neutral, and when combined with a thin belt and a simple bun, you'll look infinitely more put together.

What do you think? Even if you don't get this specific bodycon dress, I hope I've inspired you to break out a dress hiding in your closet that could use a little day wear! Don't forget  to check out Dressale for more options and look at their shoe selection!

I saw so many girls around town today wearing those varsity jackets, they seem like they're one of those few items from the "bloggy" world that have been really translating into the real world. (Ugh, like that made sense.) All of these outfits seem really you but that kimono is delicious.:)

Nope, it's definitely NOT for the self conscious.:D But it's frigging gorgeous, I just wish I had the model's body to wear it, I'd never take it off. And I love all of the outfits too, the first one especially. I adore the idea of wearing a sexy tight dress with flats - I always feel too 'hookerish' in an ultra tight dress with high heels, it reminds me of Jersey Shore and Jerseylicious.:D

my favourite look is definitely the third one. would even wear it to the office, to be honest! and I'm in love with those flats now, I really am.
