Bits and Baubles

Can I just say I have an awesome readership through you guys? Thank you for the many awesome and thoughtful comments on my last post! I'm still thinking this over and what I may do next year, but all of your input has definitely helped! So thank you! :)
I may not have an outfit post for you today, but I decided to do a more random one of snapshots from around my room. As you know, I've been living on my own for a while now and sharing an apartment with a wonderful roommate. I've been quite content here and have made this temporary location a pleasant home away from home. Since this semester has been insane, I haven't been keeping my room quite as neat as required for a bunch of photographs, but here are some tidbits and closeups.
1: The rug that often convinces me to stay in bed "just ten more minutes."
2: The corner of my dresser dedicated to necklaces and bracelets
3: The opposite corner where my inner, interior decorator forced me to buy the horse head from TJMaxx
(Oh, and if you noticed, I have my Darkroom prints lined up in the background of my dresser.)
4: That's my makeshift nightstand and the current stack of books I'm going through.
5: This would be the only thing I was proud about making from Ceramics last year. Leaf shaped catchall dishes!
6: Tada! The growing lipstick collection.
7: A selfie that shows my makeup for the day. Tested out my new foundation and am happy with the results.
8: Lipppieeeeees!

Hope this didn't bore you too much.
The next random post I do, I hope to bring you a beauty review of all those lipsticks!

Hey Linda, Take some time to mull over all the inputs but most importantly is to really do what you are comfortable with.

That's a cute rug you have there paired with the cute shoes. I like how organised that corner of your dresser look. I could never have enough space to organise all my stuff that I sometimes stop buying accessories.

I also have stools that have since become a space to put stuff and when I need to use those stools to climb up and down, I have to move all my stuff. Wonder if you have the same problem.

BTW, I'm holding my 2nd blog giveaway and I invite you, my lovely blog friend to join. There are Kimmidoll, L'Occitane, Crabtree n Evelyn and Fleurfaerie stuff to be won. Feel free to check it out and participate if keen. Have a lovely Sunday!

omigosh, how fun! :D I adore your little rug and all these close-ups you've got. It's nice that you keep some of your prints around like that. I do the same thing and keep some in my bookshelf, ehehe! Good place for safe keeping, yeah? :D

Wow, linda! Your stuff is so so organized. I could only dream of having jewelry that neat, but alas, everything is either lost or stuck in plastic boxes :P Cute mat too!

Hi Linda, these are such beautiful and inspiring shots of your room, it could be used in a decor magazine for styling ideas. I like how everything is set up, very boho and pretty. Have a great Monday!
