When Love Arrives

Scarf: c/o Shop Lately   Cardigan & Skirt: thrifted   Tank: Forever 21   Boots: Just Fab
So I realized Valentines Day was coming up thanks to all the themed blog posts and decided I might as well put together a somewhat romantic outfit. Well, this is as girly as it's gonna get. This pretty floral scarf is from Shop Lately, and I adore the soft mint color. I decided to experiment with some print mixing by adding my new tank from Forever 21 and I love how it turned out!
This is too cute and real not to share. Who else is a fan of the Kay/Kaye team!?
With Valentines right around the corner, everyone is posting some love-related themes that can make single people feel sickened. However, this poem takes a good stance on love and how fleeting but beautiful and honest it can be when it arrives.
Oh, and as one of my friends said on Facebook: "and the single/lonely on valentines day posts begin.....you.will.be.fine."

Have a lovely Valentines Day everyone, whether you be single, taken, complicated, human, etc. When love arrives, remember to say thanks for stopping by!

As for me, I'm going to go to my college's dance tomorrow night and will happily shimmy away to some upbeat music, laugh with friends, eat calorific food, wear something that makes me feel pretty, and know that somewhere around the corner or perhaps farther down the road, love in the form of a significant other will appear right when I'm ready for him. For now, I have all the love I need!

A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

Love that you wore a minty green outfit instead of the usual reds and pinks - unconventional but still so cute and feminine! You look absolutely lovely!

Ahh! Okay, so I really love how you've got a romantic v-day outfit but you're wearing such pretty aqua colors... and that floral scarf, that is some campbell's soup mmmm mmm good! This is much more interesting than an all pink and red outfit. Brownie points to you!!

Have fun at your little dancy-party! What a good way to end a long week! Dance away and eat lots of yummy things. :)
