I've taken photos at this cemetery before, but never at this particular location. I passed by and the Nelson tombstone caught my attention - my grandmother's maiden name was Nelson. When I think back to my few memories of her, I recall a cheerful little homemaker who's infamous quote is one we say a lot to this day: "If it smells good, it tastes good." We even share the name, Frances - it's my middle name in honor of her.

So when I saw the Nelson tombstone, I decided that this would be the grave I'd visit. Perhaps it's morbid, but I like to put a more positive spin on taking photos in the cemetery. Just think, if there were ghosts there, they'd be awfully lonely. Not many people go there to appreciate their place and just chill with them. So I'd like to think I'm keeping those ghosts company and providing entertainment at the same time. Hey, watching a girl dash back and forth between her tripod in stiletto boots in the snow would be pretty hilarious to watch in my opinion.

Plus, "Grave Walker" in French sounds so cool.

This black and white outfit is one of my top favorites so far - I love the simplicity and sophistication of it! And I still have the bohemian and edgy influences I love so much present in my wide brimmed hat, leather paneled leggings, and leather sleeved jacket. All in all, this one's a winner in my book. I'd like to take more of my outfits in this direction now. Perhaps that'll be my resolution? I didn't really make one, but it's never too late to set a goal!

Resolution #1: Simplify my outfits. Perhaps a more...European flair?
We'll see how long this one lasts...

(Good things are coming down the road. Just don't stop walking).

PS: Right, so just so you don't get confused, I've decided to end each post with not only Scriptures, but also quotes that are inspirational to me. Just to mix things up!

Awww a sweet tribute to your grandmother. She must be so proud of you right now. I don't particularly like cemeteries, but I know a lot of girls who do like for some reason. Our babysitter studies there, on sunny days of course. She likes the quietness - I can see that.

Your look is pretty good today, Linda! Those photographs are adorable! I've got to say I have never taken pictures at cemetery, because here in Russia cemeteries look much more scary, seriously)
Wish you a great day ahead!

Oh, I just love French. Instead of the conventional Spanish, I opted to take French in school haha. What a peaceful and perfect setting for your simple look. Your grandmother sounded like a fun lady--I'm super close to my grandma, so I loved hearing about yours. I laughed reading your opinion of taking photos in a cemetery--I'm sure the ghosts enjoyed the show haha.

I definitely want to simplify my looks too. Maybe less really is more! And I'm always in love with your hats--I'm searching for a burgundy one like the one I've seen in your outfit posts.

Have a wonderful week, dear Linda!

I like that you always end your posts in a nice little quote. :) Especially how it always relates! I don't think graveyards are creepy at all--haha, Linda, I would LOVE to roam around some graveyards with you one day! :D Man, I feel like if we hooked up in the real life, we'd have a pretty rad time.

Mmm that jacket is absolutely stunning on you. I also really adore how you're wearing a floppy hat in the winter. How cute! And those boots are absolutely dashing on you.

Have an awesome MondaY!! Hopefully you've got it off. ;) Relax, awww yeah!
