Olive You

Dress (worn as top): Rue 21   Skirt: thrifted   Jacket: c/o Shop Lately   Body Jewelry: c/o Born Pretty   Boots: Just Fab

I cannot believe how ridiculously gorgeous this weather has been. It's practically December and it hasn't snowed yet? I almost feel ripped off! I want to play in the snow in a dress and get gorgeous winter photos, by golly! Look at me, tying my jacket around my waist and baring my arms - this is insane.
But hey, I'll revel in it while it lasts. Because as that famous line from Game of Thrones goes, "Winter is coming."

This leather sleeved jacket is definitely a favorite of mine, and when I dug out my colored tights, these olive green ones reappeared. What do ya know, they match perfectly! I'm learning to appreciate matchy-matchy combinations. Especially when it's with black.

You know, I remember when I first saw body jewelry appearing in similar forms to this one I received from Born Pretty. I never thought they were that appealing until I gave one a try. This is easily going to be a fun new way to give a subtle, fun twist to any outfit!

Also, I totally stole today's post title from Dave Days.
Listen to this song!

So gorgeous, dear! That top is such a cool pattern and your 8 is fun and sweet. Of course, my favorite part are those wonderful green tights. You really made my day amazing by featuring those on your gorgeous legs :) Thanks so much for that! So ready for snow here too.

Hi Linda, your kind words are much appreciated...You make olive green seem so easy to wear, I don't have anything in this colour as yet but your outfit has inspired me. Love the boots. Have a warm and splendid weekend!

Buwahaha, BORN PRETTY BUDDIES! I like this thing you chose. It almost makes your shirt turn into another shirt. I bet it could jazz up just a plain old T-shirt in no time!

Also, way to rock those olive tights. That is seriously the perfect color for some tights... I'm surprised I don't have them in that color! ;) Might have to copy you, my sweet Linda!

I know I know, this weather is remarkable lately (but the cold is coming next week, they say) But yes look at you bearing your arms, you.

Thanks for your fun comments lately (the thanksgiving wish and the tutorial 'name') and and I look forward to fun photos from you in the snow, too.

This outfit is A.W.E.S.O.M.E. wow.

I love body jewelry, arm circlets, even body harnesses, so I love how you experimented with the look in this post. Also, I don't believe I've actually seen olive green tights before, but they match really well with the jacket.
