Max Appeal

Skirt: c/o Our World Boutique   Jacket & Tee: Target   Boots: Just Fab   Necklace: Rue 21

I got this new Navajo Maxi Skirt from Our World Boutique, and I absolutely love it! The material is a perfect fit, what with a fitting upper half but then a draping lower hem that swings about magically as I walk. What I love about a longer length skirt is how versatile it can be from summer to winter. Just layer on some fleece lined tights and a warm jacket, and no matter if it's windy, you'll stay plenty warm. I honestly find my fleece tights to be warmer than any pair of jeans I own.

Also, I know, I basically live in these boots now.

I got a lot of interesting and thoughtful comments on my last post, and I just want to say thank you for the awesome input! We live in such a sex-driven society that as fashionable ladies, we have to be conscious of the way we present ourselves.

Anyway, for a lighter topic, I had an interesting conversation with my Design and Drawing instructor yesterday. See, Mr. Scruffy and I are in her Drawing class and I have her in Design every following day. So after Design class had ended and most everyone had left, she asked me: "So are you and that boy dating?"

The smile that lit her face when I laughed and shyly said yes told me everything.
"I was hoping from day one you two would get together," she told me. "He's such a nice young man and you are so cute together. I'd always pair you two off on purpose for that."

So there you have it. Apparently my art instructor is secretly a matchmaker!

Hi Linda, I am still having so much trouble getting onto your site. Impossible still through Google Chrome and Explorer is sooooo slow. It takes forever to load.
Cool skirt and what a great teacher.

Aww thats so cute that she is interested in your well being and happiness, if a teacher is recommending a guy, he must be pretty good! Love this tribal take on a maxi skirt, the necklace is the most perfect accessory to compliment it. I appreciate your thoughts hun...Happy End of the Week!

Congrats on the Bangstyle link up. Cheers!

You know in your article / post yesterday, I wanted to congratulate you in your insight and the way you expressed it. I loved the "balance" concept. We as women want to look appealing but we also need to be careful, hence the balance. Well said, my friend.

Thank you for the prayer in behalf of Baby Z. I have a photo on my post if ya ain't seen it on IG. (hug)

I love the editorial-look of your first two shots. And I'm sure that instructors are all secret match-makers---how do you explain assigned seats?
