I cannot tell you how thrilled I am to own a pair of Inkka sneakers! I've seen them popping up on blogs here and there, and when I got the opportunity to be sponsored by them, I was psyched to say the least.
Inkkas keeps its roots in South America, where they conduct all production, sourcing, and manufacturing by hand. Also, they donate a portion of all proceeds to help protect the Amazon rainforest. I love it when something I wear also helps a cause. It gives it more meaning and a better story.
Their shoes are all so coloful and have a wonderful, tribal print theme. These are the Mojito high tops, and you can bet that the teal color pulled me in. As a girl interested in fashion, I have an affinity for anything that's different. I like wearing something that I know won't be worn around campus by every other girl. With these awesome shoes, I know for sure I'll be one of the few to own a pair of Inkkas!
Anyway, these photos were taken with Corina when we shot her upcoming Roommate Remix post. We enjoyed our break in between classes and did a little shopping too. We both added to our already immense closets, but man, I cannot wait to show off some of the new stuff I found. The clearances at the mall were absolutely worth it. Once again, I discovered a few treasures at Rue 21, and each item was $3 or less. Booya! Corina looked at all the hangers dangling off my hand and said, "I now see why you own so much."
Haha, its true! Clearances and thrift store shopping can add up to an impressive closet - all on an incredibly low budget.
I can't wait to show you how we dressed Corina up this time too. Here's a hint: Did you know she graduated with her Associate's in Business Entrepreneurship? She's now in Anthropology, but still - those business roots sink deep.
And he said to all, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.
