Tee: American Eagle   Blazer, Bag, & Jeans: thrifted   Wedges: c/o My Hot Shoes   Watch: c/o Feral Watches

So ironically enough, the day began with me wearing a bright and cheery sundress. It had a well fitted bodice with a flared out skirt with sunny yellow stripes that covered it. I wore it to my first morning class, Design I, and by the time I walked out of the building, I had to use my portfolio as a shield from the sudden, blustering gusts of wind that had appeared! One thing was obvious - I was not wearing a dress that day.

I rushed back to the apartment, tore through my closet, and decided I wanted to wear jeans. But how should I dress up boyfriend jeans for a day when we had a Senate meeting? Easy - with a blazer! Paired with my new favorite statement tee from American Eagle, I was good to go.

Also, I think I will never again accidentally go for more than two weeks without shopping. Because when that happens, Crazy Shopaholic Linda comes out and does more damage than regularly-thrifting Linda does. Is it just me, or do online sales suck you in? Especially when they advertise the whole "50% off clearance" and "free shipping" schtick. I'm going to be getting quite a few packages on my doorstep soon, and while I'm thrilled for them to arrive, I also feel like giving myself a facepalm for the sudden splurge on shopping. Note to self: avoid window shopping online - it will slowly drag your hand onto the "Add to Cart" button and before you know it, you're typing in your credit card number and BOOM. You were robbed. By yourself.

That's the story and I'm sticking with it. You don't know how advanced technology is, guys. They've upgraded those viruses to where you're infected and turned into a shopaholic zombie. So beware!
If then you have not been faithful in the unrighteous wealth, who will entrust to you the true riches?

HAHA Linda! It's easy to go crazy online. Companies have been offering some amazing deals lately. It's hard to resist. You look SUPERfabulous my friend! I love your top and your accessories are so awesome with it. Looks fabulous!

I love this outfit on you, so chic!!!

Hi Linda, this is my ideal kind of look, i could wear a blazer and jeans all the time, it looks so incredibly polished and not too formal, just perfect! The tee is adorable. You are really well-informed and experienced in online shopping, is it possible that you could please do a post on tips when shopping for clothes online, like what sites to trust and about sizing? These things worry me. I appreciate your visit hun! Happy Friday!

Your blazer is SO perfectly structured. It fits you like a glove. I totally hear ya about the online window shopping but I have a tiny voice named Eric that keeps me from buying anything, lol! Thrifting regularly is the way to go!

Poor zombie girl! Take comfort in knowing your money is spent satisfying a brilliant taste in clothing. Well, I take comfort in it anyway :)P And your look today, very cool, dear. You look so sophisticated, like a business owner or a famous photog. And, just when I am lulled into a complacent jeans and blazer haze that 2nd to last shot hits me and reminds me how totally lovely and exciting you are. That shot belong on a page simply titled "WOW!!!" Great post!

Cute tee! :) I find a blazer dresses up a tee quite nicely :) Although it's a shame the weather wasn't cooperating with your first outfit choice!

I guess it's a good thing I don't have a credit card LOL. I just stick to cash and a savings account that I use as a checkings account for now, plus a nice stash of no-spendy money in a nice, locked safe at home... because man, I'd fall victim to that, lol.

They totally have infected your mind with computer technology somehow (nods in agreement). I haven't even had time since school started to really browse any shops or anything but I guess that's all right--I feel like I need to remix stuff instead of continously buying new things, bahahaha.

okay okay and SO YOUR OUTFIT IS REALLY CUTE DUH. Your necklace is spiky and fantastic, Miss Dragonfruit lady, and I love that chic blazer, too! It's fitted so perfectly for you.

HAVE AN AWESOME FRIDAY! Thank goodness it's Friday. (flops down on your blog and falls asleep)

This graphic tee is so cute on you, and I love how you dressed it up with the blazer. Unfortunately I'm a HUGE sucker for online shopping, and when a sale strikes, my credit cards pays the price!

Haha it's SO true! I've been shopping WAY too much lately too! And online sales are the worst I ALWAYS end up looking and usually buying...
Anyway, you look super cute! I love that tee with the blazer and boyfriend jeans, it's comfortable but dressed up. Perfect for a cold windy day :)

let me tell you those wedges look pretty insane! ;) but I totally dig the golden trio of your shoes, necklace and hair thingy. they add this glamorous touch to your rather casual outfit.
when it comes to online shopping it's quite easy for me since I don't have a credit card. so I can't shop in foreign online stores, haha. thrifting and sales at regular stores are my things ;)

Ahhh the sales always get me too!! Specially when I haven't shopped in a while. It's like a rationalize, "well... I didn't shop for that time, so now I must make up for it!!" So really, all that "saved money" is not saved at all :( The tee is so cute! And boo, dresses + wind = no fun. Thank god for spandex shorts though ;)

This is my daily problem - getting sucked into sales online. I have been known to buy things from my phone, I stupidly have apps set for "speedy checkout" which is extremely dangerous.

Love your quick change outfit. The pic with you sitting on the steps is so dang cute! Love it. :)
