TV Fashion Inspiration: Kenzi from Lost Girl

So normally I don't watch much TV, but since moving out, I've been taking advantage of my roommates extensive collection of movies and TV seasons. Once we realized how we had a similar taste in shows, she introduced to my new guilty pleasure, Lost Girl. It follows the tale of Bo, a succubus who was hidden away from the fey world, but is suddenly thrust into the magical fantasy land after being discovered. Who is she and what is her story? We don't know yet, but its apparent she's an important player.

However, what I want to focus on is her human sidekick, Kenzi. She's an awesome, quirky, bold little fashionista who has a smart mouth and even quicker hand. Her flair for dramatic pieces and fantastic layering skills had me eyeing her outfits from the very first episode. Plus, the girl can rock an amazing variety of wigs - from blonde, to red, to pink, and even her natural raven locks, she always looks stunning. Here, I've compiled a couple sets of outfits inspired by Kenzi's gothic style.

Look 1: Who's Captain Dead Guy?

Look 2: Teen Angst

Look 3: Siren with my Syrup

Look 4: Rhymes with Frenzy

I've never heard of this show but I'm intrigued (you had me at succubus -- I always found that lore quite interesting). The looks you put together for her are perfect, based on your description of her character. I love the last, more casual one and the one with that awesome spray-painted skirt.

Oh my gosh! I fell in love with that galaxy skirt. SO CUTE. And that bustier is a stylish pick too. What gorgeous ensembles, girl! Loved reading about that cool show as well!

The last outfit is definitely my favorite. The Frankstein shoes?! Gah! Would it be totally inappropriate to wear those every day for the rest of my life?

Oh Linda, these outfits are so RAD! They make me want to embrace my dark side, hee hee hee. I actually bought a top recently that reminded me of you... when I get it on my blog I'll let you know, but it's totally rocker chick-ish!

I am in LOOOVE with Look 2! Seriously, is that a glittery AND poofy skirt? With tulle? And laced with sparks of gold? Tall about gorgeous! Now if I can just make the $138 needed to purchase it... ahhh, I dream.
