This scarf arrived from Snoozer Loser, and I am in love with it guys. In love. However, the sticky summer heat is doing its best to break us up, but I defiantly refused to be kept away. Instead, I paired my love with a light summer dress and used it as a shrug instead of keeping it wrapped around my neck (something that's unthinkable with 100 degree heat).
I actually really love where this outfit ended up at too. I added the tribal belt just to experiment, and some coral sandals to match. I think they blended together for a fun, girly look.
You know, since moving out, I've done some growing up. Before, I was used to relying on my parents to keep things clean and provide a steady diet of healthy foods. Now that I'm on my own, I have since discovered it is a necessary thing to learn how to cook (not just bake sugary treats - sigh) and pick up after myself. In fact, my roommates probably like to joke around about how OCD I am in comparison to them. What can I say, dad's dormant, family gene of cleanliness was passed on to me after all.
I don't mind cleaning dishes and taking out trash every now and then, but when its multipe times every day? I left to visit my folks back at home for two days, and when I popped back into the apartment to drop some stuff off, I saw the same stack of dishes in the sink with an added pile on top of it from the last time I was there. I was a bit disgruntled (especially since I'd talked to Saff about how she shouldn't rely on me to do it all the time), but then I spotted the note taped to the side of the counter.
"Linda - Don't do the dishes! I got dem :)"
That girl can sure put off household chores for as long as she can! But hey, at least I'm getting her to do them every now and then.
So on another uplifting note, Corina's boyfriend set up the bunk bed for us! Now we just have to find a mattress for her...haha. I must admit, I really like those two. I'm friends with both, so hanging out with them doesn't make me feel too much like a third wheel. They invited me to go see Man of Steel with them, and Tuyen (her boyfriend) paid for all of us. Um, this broke college girl won't turn down a free movie, especially when it was as epic as Man of Steel was! I swear I stopped breathing at certain points in the movie. I loved it!
What's the last movie you saw in theaters?
