Hey Boy

Tee: c/o Oasap   Headband: c/o Oasap   Clutch: thrifted   Jeans: (thrifted) Gap   Heels: Rue 21   Bracelet: c/o RMS I may or may not be on a boyfriend jeans kick lately...I mean, I've only worn these about three times on this blog in one week's time...that isn't too bad, right? Besides, I spiced these up with my tribal leggings peeking out of the bottom. Pretty fun spin on things! It all happened due to laziness. I was originally wearing the leggings but decided the jeans would look better. Since they're so loose, I just slipped them on top of the leggings. Voila, an instantly jazzed up pair of boyfriend jeans!

My good friend Ali once told me my spiked cap would be perfect for ramming other people with and cause injuries. Well, I decided to add to my armory of spikes by selecting this headband from Oasap. It's perfect for those days when you want to ram into other people's spleens and reduce them to weezing victims on the ground. Or, you know, just as an awesome, edgy headband. It's your choice with this splendid, spiky adornment.

So has anyone else been seeing this eagle, "boy" tee around on blogs a lot? I feel like I have, and when I saw Oasap had added this to their online shop, I was instinctively drawn to it. I had seen so many other bloggers look amazing with this simple, statement tee, so I'll admit I was influenced by that into choosing it. Anyone else end up doing that? I, for one, am seriously tempted to try out the Zara skort that's oh-so-popular right now.

I mentioned that I had a Senate meeting on Tuesday, and it was quite productive. We got a tentative idea of how we're going to handle the school's budget and were also assigned positions that we would take over for the next school year.
Guess who's the new Public Relations Senator?

Yup, that'd be me. I'll admit, I was a bit surprised. We'd filled out a list of our top three picks a couple weeks ago, and that hadn't even been one of my choices. However, I was told that they felt I'd fit that position best. So now I'll be the voice for the college. I'll be going to the local radio station here and talk with the dj's about events we'll be hosting and also creating videos for the Facebook page. Pretty cool, huh? I'll admit I'm a little hesitant (one of my favorite adjectives to use on myself is "awkwardly social" after all), but I think this will be a good way to challenge myself and learn to get out there and get things done!

PS: Check out this Lookbook with August Wrinkle I got to be in! It features four other wonderful bloggers, and I've got to say, I'm flattered I was a part of it. Go take a look for yourself! :)

The boyfriend jeans are welcome! I was gonna ask if your shoes had some cool printed tie up strap, but then I see what you wrote about the leggings peeking through-- very creative, I like! You're totally killing it in the boy shirt :) I think you should try out the skort, but I'm a bit biased cause as you know, I am in love with it haha. Congrats on your new position for next year!!

Bahahaha! Thanks for that shout out, Linda. ;) I'm glad that you're realizing the duality of these spiky fashion pieces... that headband does look rather spleen-smashing. Great minds think alike!

Yep, I can't blame you for liking these boyfriend jeans because they are SO. DARN. CUTE on you. And I haven't seen that top around but man, it's so neat! I actually ran into a similar top at TJ Maxx yesterday but never bought it. Maybe I should go back and get it.. hmm! ;)

Oh snap, Public Relations Senator, huh?! That's really awesome, Linda!! You're really getting up in the world. Funny how all this started off as something you would just try out to try out, huh? Now you're Miss Fancy Public Relations Senator! Get it, girl. :D

Well, Miss PR Senator (congrats BTW), I am so not a fan of BF jeans as a concept and have not seen them anywhere and liked them...until you of course. I mean, look at that second to the last shot. No choice but to be a fan, at least of them on you. And that against the fence shot is so great. You are SO gorgeous. Keep your spiky headband away from balloons or people might give you the nickname Senator Pop :)

Hi Linda! It's actually the tee that caught my attention on this post... the BOY with the eagle logo is a brand called Boy London... and this is their, well kind of basic tee with their logo. Been wanting one for myself but it's way too expensive for a tee. Apparently this is an old, streetstyle brand because my auntie who's in her 30's have known this brand since she was a teenager. Anyway, like I said, I've been wanting a Boy London tee for the longest time and a snapback too! haha. im envious you've got one from Oasap. I might check it out and get one, cause I really cant afford an original Boy London haha.

Haha, the Zara skort! Gezzz, I thought it was a skirt the first time I was that and it freaked me out, it was like "how do you walk in that and not flash everyone?" (And I like a short hemline!) Even as a skort, it still worries me....

Aren't studded headbands the best? I wore mine the other day and darn right those silly things are weapons! I like how you wore yours with such a chill outfit, the tee and jeans look especially cool with the headband. (I always go the other way and wear it with girly stuff, Ill have to try this now!)

Your hair is so cute!! Love the volume up top and the edgy headband. I've been on a boyfriend jeans kick too. They're so comfy, and flattering (because they're baggy... They hide everything!). Love your shoes and envelope too. :)
