Frances Photography: Kirsten's Senior Photos

Since taking Digital Photography last semester, I've been truly enjoying being behind the camera as well as in front of it. For today, I'd like to let my gorgeous friend Kirsten take center stage on the blog. She's graduating high school next Tuesday, and I had the honor of taking her Senior pictures. She just gave me one of her graduation announcements, and apparently people have been asking her who took her photos. She just smiles and proudly tells them, "Frances Photography."

Frances is my middle name, and I couldn't think of anything especially clever. Plain and simple is always best anyway.

In response to everyone's comment on my last, emotional post: Thank you so much. To those who actually took time to read it and respond with heartfelt comments, you have no idea how much they touched me. I remember when I had to post about my relationship ending and how awful and wrecked I felt. You lovely readers picked me up then, and when I still stumble today, you  push me back up onto my feet again. It's incredible to know the support I've received through this blog is always there for me. Such a wide variety of advise and consolement from women (and men!) of different ages is incredible to read. I feel that by sharing what's going on in my life on this here fashion blog has helped me get a better perspective on situations, and it's all thanks to you.

Oil and perfume make the heart glad, and the sweetness of a friend comes from his earnest counsel.

Thank you for the kind comment
Your photos look great (and a beautiful model)- I wish I had graduation photos by Frances photography!
I can't believe how well you handelled your last goodbye. I completely understand what you mean about leaving a part of your wuth someone you love. But wow your so mature about it! If I'm honest I'm a little bitter about my ex (he was a truely awful human who made me feel terrible about myself) and my first boyfriend is really bitter towards me. I admire how well you've learned fron it all :)

Blogging definitely does give us new perspectives on things--so well put, Miss Linda! And so true. I feel like writing about things really helps you to understand what you're feeling, too, you know? To sort things out and maybe rationalize a little bit. Ah, this is why you're my favorite. :D

These pictures are hands down rad. I seriously love the location you guys picked and the ones of her sitting by the window and that worn door are way cool. So many neat textures!

Lovely pictures - you are right to feel proud when she says they are taken by you :)

And good to hear you're getting lots of help and support and advice through your blog - that show how much people enjoy your blog, they want to give back :)

These are such great senior pictures! I wish that my school let us have unique senior portraits, but alas I was wearing black in front of a blue background, haha.

Hi Linda.. Thanks for your wonderful and insightful comment, I loved what you wrote. Kirsten looks so pretty you have captured her natural beauty and great charm perfectly through the lens. I wish you lived nearby so I could ask you to take pics for my events too! What is senior pictures about btw, we don't have something like that here.

Linda, I told you that photography would be your side part-time job! You took some amazing shots of her. She's so cute! You have a great eye for it. Start opening shop! The possibilities are endless: graduations, kid birthdays, christenings, baptisms, etc. Make some extra cash! Put a portfolio together :)

I'm happy it helps you when people comment, I'm still too shy to share any actual personal things on my blog - maybe I should change that?

Have the best weekend ever,

I'm a new reader, so I'm not sure about the details of what's been going on with you, but I'm so glad you've had the wonderful support of the blogging community around you.
