Tie Dye Jeggings

Blouse: c/o Buy Trends   Jeggings: American Eagle   Boots: Payless   Sunglasses & Bracelets: Philippines   Necklace: Forever 21
So I'm being a lazy blogger and am posting these old photos under the pretense of "Hey, I'm spring cleaning not only my closet, but my outfit photos!" I've got quite a few posts that never went up, thus a backup collection for me to use on weeks when I'm falling behind in homework. Hehe...don't tell me you've never used this method yourself! Its a great safety net. The only sad thing about this post is that I don't have ombre hair in them. Haha, I must say, I really like my lightened ends!

I'm trying to use these tie dye jeggings from American Eagle more. The reason they've been hiding in my closet so long is because I'm stuck on what to pair with it. Basic black and white tops are no-brainers, but I want to try and mix it up a little. Ah well, for now, a sheer black blouse and some platform booties will do. I really like the statement these bottoms make all on their own anyway.

I've signed up for some summer classes, although they shouldn't even be called classes.
Not when they're Spinning and Yoga at least. Hehe, I'm addicted to working out! I know I don't have the motivation to be hitting the gym on my own, so by joining group activities like this, it keeps me accountable.
What have you found to be useful to staying active?

I confess, lately I've felt as if life has gotten "blah." Before, I could see the magic in moments and write about little bits that captured my attention. However, its almost as if I've gotten jaded about that. Life has certainly been dealing my family some punches, but I'm determined to get back on my feet. Its time to shake off this stagnant feeling!

just today I thought life has gotten quite stressful and I often feel tired and stressed out. I think I really need a vacation and I wish it was possible to experience one..
anyway, the classic black combo of your shirt and boots is pretty awesome and once again I like your jewellery, especially the necklace.

I'm pretty sure your life hasn't gotten "blah" lately... You're just busy, is all! And I think I'm pretty blah-busy right now, too. We can be boring together, Linda. ;)

Haha, but these jeggings are far from boring. I love these on ya! And they look like they fit you perfectly, and cozy as heck. They remind me of a lightning storm. Stormy Linda--I dig that.

Recycling such a great look is certainly a good thing :) Your hair is rock-star-tastic in there and your wrist bling sweet. I miss your lovely eyes hiding behind those sunnies tho. Yes, please do bring those jeggings back. They work great on you. Thanks for dropping by to visit my blog. Made my day to see you had been there :)

Rose-et-Violet said...

Ahh these jeggings are tricky indeed! I would say try hot pink...or a more subdued pattern...that might be interesting and unexpected!

I've been wanting to join a spinning class for the summer, but they fill up so quickly! Maybe this time around, I'll get a spot.

Oh, and thank you for your sweet comment. I don't dislike my curves, but I just felt sad that they weren't cooperating with that dress that day.

Linda, those tie dye jeggings look great on you doll! Perfectly styled! I don't blame you for having back up picks. Weather, homework etc can definitely side line you. It's great to have spares. I hope the tables turn for your family soon. Trust me a lot of people are going through stuff right now. Don't feel you're the only one. You never know what people are experiencing. Continue to pray, have faith and keep moving forward. ((hug))

Love the tie dye pants on you :) So nice with the black, and like you said white, but you could pair it with blue or navy, or pink or purple. Grey is another good neutral, and orange would be fab too!

so true! I've used this method too! but right now i have no backups... anyway, good luck with working out! I tried to do well last year but it didn't work well for me because I'm a lazy butt... and also because with work and school and everything in between, i think i'd die of fatigue if i still added gym in my to do list, or to join activities like yoga.

on another note, you look adorable! love those jeggings!

hey Linda, don't kill me but I got some boots just like those at my sweet Savers for $1 (ooops, did I say that out loud?) Mine are so similar but not as shiny as yours are. Have I told you I love those jeggings, before? Have I seen those before? Well, I love them and your you great wearing them. Dig in to those books and don't be jealous of my silly 'blogger' dreams. hahahaha

Are you on the west coast? You should have a Savers near you. It might be called "Value Village" because some cities have it named that for some strange reason. But is the EXACT same store. Perhaps that helps.

Oh my gosh girl, I just have to give you a big hug. That's so awful that you've been dealing with your grandma passing away, I remember your trip from the islands and your posts about her and that's just awful to hear about. I'm so sorry for you having to go through that and here you are, keeping your chin up and keepin on. (I swear, you are such a strong young lady.) I hope things start looking up for you, that's rough when life keeps throwing things like that at you. I'm so sorry for your loss.

And like you said, on lighter note, I love that we seem to gravitate towards the same things at ae. I keep looking at these jeans on the clearance rack, the tie dye is so awesome and fun but, yeah, I could really think of anything I could wear them with. (I do love the sheer top with the booties though, you are such a rocker bohemian babe.)

Katie Q. said...

I totally forgot to tell you thank you as well. You are such a completely sweet person to offer me comfort when you're going through something so rough yourself, you have just the biggest, kindest heart. It really just meant so much to read your words of support and knowing that you're going through the same thing, I wish I could offer as kind of words. You are such a kind person and I really wish you all of the best things in the world dear and again, I'm so sorry to hear that about your grandma.
