(Back to pre-ombre pictures...sigh)
When I searched through the dress racks at my favorite thrift store, only one thing was on my mind - finding the perfect maxi dress. As I flipped through the hangers, my brisk search came to an abrupt stop as I landed on this snug option. It was a size small, but I tugged on the stretchy material hopefully. Without a second thought, I added it to my "try on" pile. Hey, when you're thrifting, don't pay attention to the size labels!
I'm so glad I ignored it too. This baby is definitely a new favorite, and by pairing a beanie and print cardigan with it, its made perfect for a day out in this chilly spring weather.
I feel like my summery boho vibe is slowly meshing into my edgy style. Its a lovely marriage.

So Psychology homework has got to be some of the most fun type of homework to do. One of the assignments involved taking several personality quizzes, and I got a kick out of one analysis I received. Apparently, my least dominant characteristic is logic.
Bet you wouldn't believe my most dominant is verbal...

Anyway, I posted that on Facebook since I found it so humorous, and guess who commented on it?
CG. Remember him? He found it funny as well and teased me about how true it was. Playing along, I challenged him to see who was more logical and got a better grade on the Psychology exam we'd taken.
Um yeah, guess who got a 94 on that sucker?

Booyah! So now I'm borrowing The Hobbit from him as my prize. I still haven't seen it.
This crush may not have led to a date, but I'll take what I can get. Haha!

PS: Don't forget to enter my international giveaway with Stylegodis for a chance to win a piece of jewelry from them here!

Morning Linda! Yes, so true, ignore sizes, try-on pile mounts and plan on spending one hour in the fitting room. and ...Yes to this entire ensemble. I love how you wear the hat, so you! (hug)

Oh, that maxi dress is a dream! I feel like that's such a basic piece that you could wear a million ways. I'm still searching for one that fits me at the thrift store, haha. The cardigan was the PERFECT thing to pair with your dress! You just ooze cool, easy comfort and style. Psychology definitely is an interesting class-there is so much information and so many theorist to learn about! Congrats on your awesome grade! That is something to be proud of :)

That dress is just so cute! I never pay attention to sizes either when I'm thrifting - has led me to some great items!

Ahh, CG strikes again! I haven't seen the Hobbit yet either - you'll have to let us know how it is!

The Hobbit is so much better than a date, haha! I haven't seen it yet, either, so it's okay, we can totally be in the same boat for that, my dear!

That sweater looks sooooo cozy! And I love that you made it super intense by adding spikes (haha, of course! I love you and your spikes, Linda <3). The necklace is pretty rad and violent-looking. Love it!

Man,. that is so true about sizes at the thrift store! I've gotten such a range of sizes from there, it's crazy. (Right now, it ranges from 16-2 which is just bonkers.) I love the material and the length of this maxi, it's very effortless cool and the cardigan just makes it look that much better. (It's been fun to see all of the ways you've worn this cardigan, it seems so versatile for having such as bold pattern.)

And dude, no one rocks a beanie as well as you.
