Only in Idaho would you experience rain, snow, sleet, wind, and sun all within an hour's time.
So if you spot white stuff in my hair it's not dandruff, it's snow.
I was just too happy with this outfit not to get photos of it - plus, the peek-a-boo sun provided some great lighting. The matching cobalt blue was so perfect in this outfit! When I spotted the blazer in the thrift store, I could immediately envision it with several outfits (after I'd mentally cut out the shoulder pads of course). It matches so perfectly with my boots from My Hot Shoes - I think I need to try this matchy-matchy business more often. I'm trying to thrift more classy pieces now that I'm on Senate. Casual business attire is required.
I grabbed some food with my friend at a local restaurant after our Senate meeting, and while munching on our sweet potato fries, venting about boys, I felt so content. Haha, its funny, but its as if I've finally come to a point where I'm content with things the way they are. I had a rebound crush after my breakup with P, and while it was fun, it was frustrating since it led absolutely nowhere. So lately, I've completely given up on it. And when I say completely, I mean completely. He still sits next to me in classes and we small chat - but I'm no longer stressing over what to talk about or entertaining thoughts about slipping in a flirty comment. Instead, I leave when I feel like it and don't pause or wait around to walk with him afterwards. Its freeing. So while I'm back to square one, this time, I'm feeling more confident and satisfied about it. This time, I'm not just telling myself those words - I believe it.
So tomorrow I'm going to see The Croods with Saffy since college students get in for free - I've heard its a surprisingly good cartoon and I'm looking forward to a carefree night. This semester is coming to an end, but besides a major paper I need to write, I feel like I've stayed on top of things. So now I'm just ready for summer to start! Its time for bare legs, hot sun, days by the lake, and new experiences!
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.
