Sequins Are For Daytime

Jacket: thrifted   Top: Philippines   Skirt: c/o Tulle   Sunglasses: (won in giveaway) ZeroUV   Bag: c/o The 7 Senses   Shoes: thrifted

Cross Bracelet: c/o Estarer   Stud Wrap Bracelet: Philippines   Necklace: (won in giveaway) The Phrenzy
How gorgeous is this sequined skirt from Tulle!? I was so excited when it arrived in the mail. Its the perfect little piece to add a little sparkle to an everyday look. For a daytime look, some basic layering and cool sneakers did the trick. I had dad help me out with the outdoor photos, but then I went back inside for better details of the top I was wearing. It was too cold to shed the coat in the snow! This is the navy cutout top that's like my mocha colored one here.
So I really enjoyed reading your feedback on my little tidbit about that cute guy from a couple posts ago. Haha, and I'm happy to say I need to update that situation for you. Remember reading how I'd always scurry out the door, not giving him a chance to talk to me? Well, I took some of the advise you girls gave me.

I didn't rush out the door so fast, and he caught up to me. We were going in the same direction anyway, so we chatted for a bit. Then yesterday in Photography class, we were sent out to take pictures for an upcoming project. I meandered over to my desk, grabbed the things I needed, and headed to the door. He was there, waiting, and opened it for me - all while shooting that adorable smile he's been sending me lately.

I think right then and there I knew I was in trouble.
Haha, it turned out we were the only ones who still needed more pictures for the assignment, so we just wandered around snapping photos of the most random things, all the while joking and casually talking. Its interesting getting to know him. Apparently, he's a smart guy, because we're the same age, but this is his last semester. He started taking classes at college when he was 16!

So to sum it up: he's smart, a gentleman, and have I mentioned how tall he is? I was wearing my wedges yesterday, and you know how I am with wedges...anyway, even with them on, I just barely reach his shoulder.

All I can say is, hey, at least he's a nice distraction, right?
And as of right now, this cheeky song by Marina and the Diamonds has been on repeat for me.

PS: Don't forget about the Indressme Giveaway going on here!
PPS: THANK YOU FOR THE AWESOME BIRTHDAY WISHES! I had a simple yet pleasant day, and what more can a girl ask for?

Linda, I missed this post from yesterday. Nice development explanation. I knew I had missed out on something. Nice he is so tall. How tall are you? It is hard to determine in some photos. But in your wedges you would be 5 inches taller for sure. This young man sounds promising.
