Sniffle Season

Beanie: gift   Sweater: thrifted   Jeans: (thrifted) Bullhead   Flats: Wet Seal   Ring: c/o RMS   Glasses: c/o Glasses Shop

This has got to be my favorite set of photos for an outfit post (thus, more are included than usual - sorry, I couldn't resist)! Kirsten and I headed down the canyon to the nearby Snake River for these, and they turned out absolutely lovely.

As for the title...well, anyone else starting to get a case of the sniffles? I know I am, and it won't be over for quite a while. During the colder months, I seem to have this perpetual stuffy nose that never stays away for long. It stinks, but just means I have even more of an excuse to buy up some seasonal coffees and teas, right? ;)

The chill of fall has officially snapped into place here. Every time someone walks into the restaurant I work at, I feel a breeze of cold air brush over me. It's time to start putting away the summer clothes! This knit sweater I thrifted will definitely get it's usage. It is the quintessential, thick, cozy, and snuggly item to own! It was perfect for my lazy mood.

So while this outfit is more casual, it's something I can see my style heading towards. Then again, I recently got some floral leggings, so don't be expecting outfits that are too plain haha!

By the way, since I have less to say, and really wanted the focus on these pictures, I decided to include my bit of text at the end. Just wondering, but do you prefer it this way? Or would you like it broken up by pictures?

Anyway, keep warm and try to avoid the sniffles for as long as you can!

wow. the background looks gorgeous. love your beanie! i wish i could wear beanies, but they look weird on me, haha.

i usually include my text after all the pictures because I feel like it's more consistent and looks better. But honestly I have to say I really like reading your writing broken up by pictures.

AH YOURE SO CUTE LINDA! :) I love the beanie like April said. And I am sooo loooving the photo quality with your new camera! :) As for the words, I think I like them better at the end. I feel like I focus more on the pictures if they're all together then if words are splitting them up. I've been sort of feeling the same way now that it's cold....I've never had the urge to wear pants before! I am SO a dress and skirt girl! BUT I WORE PANTS TWICE THIS WEEK!!! crazy. But hey, I still add some jazz with shoes and accessories so im still rockin it ;) You rock this look for sure! You look so mature in glasses Linda haheehe :)

Love your outfit! Simple but so chic! Cute hat! I think the text at the end is great or at the beginning. I am not really a fan of it being broken up with pictures as I may miss something. Great post!

you can place the text however you want to but maybe broken up by pictures is slightly better ;)

About your last question, I like when your text is "in one place" :) I like to see images as a flow.. But if there's something to tell about each photo, then you should definitely add the paragraph under / above those. :)

And about the look, what a lovely & comfy looking one ! Cute knit and flats.. Nice outfit :)

Oooh! This outfit looks so comfy and warm. Definitely perfect for the start to fall--I especially love that beret and those flats, my love! <3

I feel ya. It's totally starting to get chilly. Just barely! And the sniffles are a comin' for me whenever I ride my bike... it's kind of annoying actually lol

Also, those floral leggings sound interesting. Can't wait to see them, my dear Linda! ;)

Wow...these photos are beautious! Really, really gorgeous. I love this cozy autumn look. The sweater, the shoes, the hat...all perfect (and I bet that sweater would look great with your floral leggings, too!)

Your photos are so beautiful! The surroundings are exquisite. I surely hope you feel better soon. Several of my friends and a couple other bloggers are sick. It's definitely the weather and temperature change. I love your beanie and that sweater looks so soft and cuddly. Also I'm a ballet flat girl, and I love yours. Again, take care and sending well wishes your way.

Oh I love this photoshoot! I love when nature is involved, and that river looks gorgeous!

I'm loving that big sweater. I want one!! You look so comfy!

I would have to say I prefer when you spread out the text of the blog throughout your pictures, I feel like it's more like a story that way :)
