Spontaneous

Denim Button Down: Walmart   Tee: Rue 21   Skirt: Debs   Boots: c/o My Hot Shoes   Necklace: (gift) Macys   Bag & Beanie: garage sale

The above photo would be my "Umm, is there a car coming??" pose. Very original, no?
Haha for this outfit, I drove Kirsten and I back out to a reclusive road that's nearby. Something about the rocky terrain just fits this outfit.

This diamond print skirt first caught my eye at the clearance rack at Debs. It was love at first sight. I just knew it would fit into my closet perfectly for the upcoming fall! Paired with my super comfy combat boots from My Hot Shoes, I felt pretty stylish and ready for anything. If it remains breezy and cool-ish, I hope to wear this for my first day of college!

Oh man, college...I've talked about how fast it's coming up, haven't I? I'm so excited yet nervous for that first day! The people I'll meet, teachers I'll have, and entirely new environment gives me butterflies to think about. Whenever I'm thrust into a new environment I kind of turn into a bundle of nerves. Which is awful as a quiet person...I'm just hoping I'll run into some really friendly people in my classes!

In other "Life Lately" news, it's been going great with Patrick. Haha, we spent Monday together after I got off work and it was a relaxing time. We seriously didn't do much. We grabbed some bagel sandwiches and ate them at a scenic park nearby. Afterwards, we took a walk before flopping down on a shady hill. It was so comfortable to just lie there next to each other and listen to the shouts and chatter of other families and then talk ourselves.

Something I love about our time together is how spontaneous we'll be. There's no specific plan. Maybe there's a rough draft formed, but we edit it a lot and end up doing something completely different.
After lazing in the shade together, we decided to go to the lake that was nearby and dip our toes in the water. It was a great way to cool off! Although neither of us had brought our swimsuit, it was still refreshing.

Also, I discovered just how strong he is...aha, he may be a smaller guy, but he's definitely all muscle and no fat! Because later that day, out of nowhere, I felt his arms go around my waist and he lifted me up and twirled me around! Haha, it was pretty fun since I wasn't expecting it at all. Like I said, spontaneous.
It's the best!

Awww, still, that is such a cute pose, I liked it very much! :3

And great look! I like how bohemian, yet edgy it is; that skirt goes well with black rocker boots, it's like miss-matching, but very cool looking!

...And don't worry about college, you'll be fine! Just keep confident and smile, I'm sure you'll make great friends there :3 It will be one of the most amazing times of your life, trust me!

AWEEE I love the spontanuity (is that even a word?... it is NOW muwahaha) of you two. That's so adorable at the end what you wrote, eeeeek.

Bahaha, I love your "is there a car coming?" pose. Much more original than many poses you see bloggers with, oh yes. ;)

And that skirt is so pretty, it is. The print is so tribal and fun! Paired with those combat boots (which are gonna be so perfect for winter!), you've got one fierce look here, girl!
