Pretty In Pink + Guest Post!

Dress (worn as top): c/o Clothes Hound   Skirt: vintage   Wedges: c/o My Hot Shoes   Belt: thrifted   Bag: Garage Sale

Hey guys, just so you know, I guest posted over at Sarah's blog, Coming Unstitched! Go check it out here.
More pictures to see of this outfit there. :)

I felt quite girly in this getup. Normally this isn't my typical summer outfit. This is something you'd probably see me wear to school, minus the floral wedges. Haha, while I love my height-boosting shoes, they're not always practical for all-day wear! But since it's summer, I figured why not. Once college starts I'll stick to comfortable shoes till I figure my way out around campus. Thankfully, it seems like most of my classes are taking place in buildings that are right next to each other. Score! I'll be able to rock some crazy shoes :D

In other news, I've signed up for the local gym again, which is a relief. Haha, I tried taking a month off and did some outdoor running. While I was able to do it, I found myself less motivated. With a month left to get in shape before college hits, I figure why not re-activate my membership? I want to feel my best when classes start! Besides, I'm taking a volleyball and dance class, and I want to be in shape for those.

Tonight I'm working some long hours, but afterwards Patrick and I are going to a drive-in movie. Does anyone else have these left in their area? They're going extinct it seems! It's pretty nice since it's actually a family event sort of place. The majority of people there are large families and there'll be kids running around in their pajamas. Haha, surprised? It's nothing like Grease portrays it to be!

So just to throw this in here, last night I worked late since I had to close. By the time I go out to my car to drive home I'm not paying attention to anything. It's a half hour drive to my place, and the whole way there I don't notice a thing out of place. So when I get home, I immediately change out of my work clothes and start to unwind. Then dad comes into my room and asks, "So who left you the candy under your wipers?"
I'm like, "What candy!?" I dash back out to the garage and sure enough, there are three little chocolate bars tucked in there with a note! Guess who'd decided to "leave me with a little taste for tomorrow"? Patrick! It was the cutest thing ever. It definitely left me with a smile on my face the rest of the night. :)
PS: Want to revamp your shorts or old denim faves? Here's a way! This girl Lizzie is taking old shorts and jeans and makes them new by splatter painting them. She has a wide variety of options for you to customize your Splat! jeans with. Depending on the options you choose, the shorts range from 10 to 15 dollars. You also have many colors to choose from! All you have to do is email! She will give you the options and her address. You can either send her old shorts, or give her your size. No refunds if they don’t fit. If you send her old shorts, please use a self-addressed stamp.

Those wedges are too cute, I love them. We have a drive-in not far from where I live in Melbourne it is the same - popular with the families!

This is so cute. The story of the candy made me smile so big. Adorable.

Drive-ins are so much fun!! We have one about 45 minutes away so when we go it's usually a nice treat. I hope that you have fun at yours with Puh-puh-puh-PATRICK. >:D

Also, this is indeed a girly outfit. ;) I don't think I've seen you in pink before, but you look so cute! Those floral wedges are quite lovely, too.

PS) and just in case you didn't see my second comment on your last post, lovely lady, thank you again for noticing + liking my blog layout :D I am glad it gains yer awesome approval!

Pink really suits you! I love this outfit with the floral wedges :)

Hope you have fun at the drive through! We have one here, it's a bit far away but we like to go to it as it's fun to have Cooper enjoy the movie with us (he likes to watch TV sometimes too!)
We haven't been in a while, should go when it starts to warm up again :)

the floral print on your shoes is so cute! and lol I've always wanted to go to a drive in movie! I told my bf that and he seemed so shocked. I think the ones around your area would be like the modern day ones here, full of families rather than couples! xD such a shame because they seem like such an amazing place to take your SO in movies like Grease.
