Hodge Podge

I did a post titled this a couple months ago, and I'm thinking I may make it a regular feature once a month. Because while I mainly just blog fashion pictures, there's also other stuff going on in my life that maybe you'd like to see. It'll just be a collection of random pictures from daily life and little things like that. Hope you enjoy it, and if you do want this to become a regular thing, let me know in your comments!

So first off, here are some sweet treats I've been enjoying!

Kirsten and I made cake pops - or in this case, brownie pops! Haha, we didn't have any cake batter, just brownies, so we made do with what we had. They just so happened to be the mint flavored kind too, so these were heavenly. Extremely heavy and filling, but delicious!

I think every girl needs a box of the dark chocolate version if they had it too!

BEFORE: chocolate chips and peanut butter

Most dangerous recipe ever...they're so ridiculously easy to make. Find it here.

AFTER: peanut butter fudge

I'm sure I've mentioned how much I love ice cream during the summer. Heck, I love it during winter too!

Mom and I did some cherry picking out at the nearby orchards. There were so many! We've made about 3 cherry pies so far.

Now for some photography and cutesy stuff

So have I mentioned that I won a LOVE dress in a giveaway? It's absolutely gorgeous! It's difficult to style for reasonable use, so for now it's become just a "pretty for pictures" piece. But I'll probably rock it with tights in the fall/winter.

I'm half Filipino, and Baguio is where my mom is originally from. I believe the Scrabble board was trying to communicate with us. It means I must go back and visit - very soon! :)
I hope at least. That'd be awesome if I could go during Christmas break!

Those two lovely people would be my adorable parents. 31 years and they still like to act like goofy, lovesick teenagers. Makes me happy yet grossed out at the same time. :b
Hopefully one day I'll have a relationship as strong as theirs!

Isn't this just adorable!? Kirsten and I went to the grocery store and found these two little chihuahuas outside in a little girl's bike. I like the face that younger pup is making at the camera too. So cute!

Kirsten and I just being goofy haha

So if you remember this post, I talked about how my friends were giggling like evil maniacs because they were taking pictures of Patrick and I, while we were totally unaware. Hey, we were watching the cool fireworks show! Haha, but then I saw the pictures and thought "Oh...those are actually pretty cute." We ended up sharing his longboard as a cushion for our necks towards the end. Craning your neck to stare at fireworks gets pretty uncomfortable after a while.
Aaaand I just know you girls would be curious to see these anyway. Haha, I know I like seeing personal peeks into a blogger's life, so here's one at mine.

Hope you all enjoyed this mismatched, random post! Let me know in comments if you'd like more of these each month. :)

So much delicious looking food in one place, I love the look of the brownie pops, they look absolutely delicious! Cherries are one of my favourite fruits too. Your parent's relationship sounds absolutely amazing, it's wonderful how they are still going so strong even after all the years they've been together.

I've been away for too long, how have you been? :) xx
