Colored Denim and Tribal Shoes

Outfit Details:    Sweater: apostrophe   Jeans: JcPenney   Wedges: c/o My Hot Shoes   Necklace: Forever 21

Well I'm back from our Senior trip, and it was such an amazing time!We went to the zoo, then got cleaned up to go for dinner at a really nice, fancy place.
My friend Rueben kept jumping up and down in his seat next to me and exclaiming "I just feel so cool being here!" So yes, it was an amazing restaurant with superbly delicious food! A couple of the guys ordered this 24 oz steak (I am not kidding you) and ate it all! No to-go boxes for them haha.

The next day we got up early to go swimming in the pool before we left. Dividing up into teams, we did some improvised volleyball. Haha man that game had me giggling so hard throughout it. We were awful but had a blast just messing around!

Then we went to Wahooz, a fun center that offers bumper boats, go-karts, lazor tag, and an arcade.
Let's just say when we did boys versus girls in lazor tag....we lost every single time. Sigh.
But! It was a lot of fun, just like the entire day was. Plus, after that we got to go shopping, so it was all good. :)

So there is my Senior trip in a little nutshell. There were a lot more moments, but its far to long to write it all down now.
And I took over 100 pictures from those two days, so I'll share them in another post in the future. Still gotta go through and edit them!

When I came home, I found a package for me with these tribal wedges in them! What a great welcome-home gift, right? I'm in love with these! Seriously, I pulled them out of the box and gasped. Haha, they look so much better in real-life than online. Even I underestimated how lovely they were.

Best part is that they're comfortable! I'm always kind of worried ordering shoes online because I don't have a chance to try them on first, but with My Hot Shoes, I'm finding that the shoes they offer are all walk-able (at least, the ones I've tested out so far are).
If you're thinking about trying out one of their shoes, I have some great news for you too. As a reader of Trendy Teal, you can get 20% off their already affordable shoes!
Just use the code: LINDA20

Its funny how people start recognizing your style. As I walked through the mall with my classmates, they'd point out something and say "That just screams 'Linda' to me." And sure enough, I'd love whatever they were looking at. The theme I found in the items they pointed out was how crazy and bold they were. Hmm...perhaps they notice the shoes and jewelry I wear?
Haha, so while I'm not sure what to label my style yet, it seems others have already picked up on what it is!

What do people say about your style?

Haha it's funny how others pick up on your style before you can even label it yourself! I always get surprised whenever someone says something is "so me" or "suits my style" because I honestly don't even think I have a particular style.. Those wedges are beautiful and go so well with your pants! Glad to hear you had fun on your senior trip! :)

People call me boho and "indie". lol I live in a very preppy Northeastern town so I guess being a little bit hippie once in a while really makes me standout among the sperry and plaid and Lilly Pulitzer lovers who are my classmates.
I love your colored jeans, Linda! And those wedges. SUPER jeal. Your friend Rueben sounds like fun :)
And your class trip sounds AMAZING. I WISH MY SCHOOL LET ME GO SHOPPING...DURING SCHOOL! Haha <3

I love the green jeans you're wearing! People do that to me all the time too! All of my close family and friends know that I love wearing chiffon and I love warm tones (browns, beige, cream, etc.) so whenever they see any items like that they would say "That is so you!". I guess they're right lol.

24oz steak!? GURL. You're intense. We need to chow down together some time. Sounds like it'd be a party. I'm suuuper glad that you had fun on your senior trip! You're growing up! *tear* ha ha ha.

Those jeans are such a super neat color. They look darn good on you! And they are a perfect match for your nneeewww wedges (the print on them is awesome!). Your necklace looks so nice against that shirt, too. :)

I bet you had a fantastic time with your classmates, too bad we don't have such senior trips! I can't wait to see more pictures :) And as for your question, they are always amazed that I don't EVER wear jeans, just dresses and skirts. Or that I despise all sorts of backpacks and always bring a handbag to school. They can't believe that I actually find it comfortable, haha.

Those shoes are so cute! They remind me of the ones in your banner. You will have so many cute outfits with these shoes for the summer! I'm glad it sounds like you had a lot of sun on your senior trip, I remember loving mine as well. I love the black top and how it holds the whole outfit together.

I think people know my style when they see leopard print or spikes or chunky shoes... people seem to know my style pretty well and I am like the easiest person to buy for! lol my mom always has a lot of extra stuff for me cause I am so easy and my brother and her bf are harder to find things for.

Haha I remember Wahooz! My parents used to take me there when I was younger. Sounds like you had a lot of fun! I know I always say this, but lovely shoes, once again!

Gorgeous outfit. I really love the simplicity of it with the coloured pants and tribal wedges as nice focal points of the look. I think it's funny when people recognize and try to describe your style. Like..oh thanks, I didn't realize my style was edgy cute, but interesting description.
