OOTD // Hungry For More

Outfit Details:   Vest: Dollhouse+DIY   Tank: thrifted   Skirt: c/o Stylezi   Sandals: Forever 21   Necklace: c/o Lylif

Okay, so who hasn't seen the Hunger Games by now?
Go watch it if you haven't!
Or even better, read the books first.

Haha, I'm quite pleased with the movie translation, which doesn't happen too often when its based off my favorite books. I read the series back when it first came out, and after watching the movie, I want to re-read them so I can flesh out all the details and revive my memory.

This is what I wore to go watch the movie last weekend. Another high-low hem skirt! This time though, I have to thank Stylezi for sending it over to me. I'll admit I was nervous when I picked it out, since its a Korean-based store...and you know how Koreans are built. I'm not exactly the most petite girl around. However, I was relieved to find it stretchy and comfortable. Plus, since its black, it goes with a lot in my closet!

Hmm, so tomorrow I'm going back out to work on the farm. In a previous post I made reference to this, but my friend Jesse works on his grandpa's farm and invites a lot of us out to work and make some money. Its a really great place actually, because while the work may be hard, we're all pretty close friends so its fun! Plus, there are atvs to drive ;)

So after watching The Hunger Games, I want to go out and buy myself a bow and arrow. Oh, and some archery lessons would probably help...

What did you think of the movie?

I thought they did a pretty good job of the movie but I still love the book so much better.

I haven't seen the movie yet but I finally bought the first book Friday night. I picked up it Saturday morning and did not put it down until I had read the entire book. Loved it. Now I'm ready to go see the movie.

haha the movie was alright for me, but I did really like Katniss' character. Throughout the whole movie I was just thinking what a strong, suitable role model she was for all the young girls watching, unlike Bella from Twilight. Love your triangle necklace by the way! :)

Haven't yet seen the Huner Games, but my roommate has the book and I'll be reading that when I have time! I'm glad you liked the book to movie translation--it's hard for movies to do that. I was pretty pleased with the Harry Potter movie to book adaptations. They definitely were on the ball with many of the places the trio had to visit haha. :)

Anyway, cute cute simple black and white outfit! That uneven hem is so rad. >:D

I heard the Hunger Games everywhere and that best advice was to read the book first..everybody is talking about it now, and i havent watched it yet. Your skirt is so trendy, wow Korea is getting ahead. If given a chance, I would also love to see how to work in a farm, my father has one but in Phils. Its something a fashionable girl could be hardly believed that they work on the farm:) good luck on the new archery skills!
