OOTD // I Let My Skirt Do the Talking

Outfit Details:   Dress (worn as skirt): Philippines   Tshirt: PacSun   Necklace: Forever 21   Watch: Philippines   Wedges: (gift) Payless

So in case you cannot tell, I'm having a case of the winter blues. As in, I'm tired of winter fashion and all it's layers. I'm ready for spring and warmer weather to get here!

Defying the ominous sky, I pulled out one of my favorite dresses from summer and slipped it on. Then after rearranging it into a skirt, I threw on a slouchy tee, added my favorite necklace and wedges, and I felt suitably warm while still hinting at the warmer weather I'm hoping will come.

It didn't rain until I got home too.
Anyone else loving maxi lengths this time of year?

And here's an image I came across that I had to share.
Disney Princesses restyled! How cute is that?

My favorite was always Pocohontas when I was little.
I'd repeatedly insist I was going to marry John Smith too. Then dumb John Rolfe had to come onto the scene. Poor John Smith. He's still my favorite!

Hmm, although out of all of these fashion makeovers, my favorites would have to be Belle, Aurora and Tiana.

Happy Friday everyone!

My favorite was always Ariel because we both have long red hair. But I dont care for the shoes they put on her. My faves are Jasmine, Tiana, and Snow White. This is really cool! And i like what you did with the dress turning it into a skirt!

Loving the color combo - perfect way to chase away the winter blues :)

I'm loving maxis too, but midis make up the majority of my closet right now. Knee/shin length doesn't have the same bohemian fun, but it suits me better. I am jealous of how rad this looks on you though.

I've been having the winter blues too. Not that my style changes all that dramatically but it would be nice to leave off a couple of those layers. I love these sketches! I have always had the nickname Snowwhite and love the fact that her re-style has a similar me style! Cute!

that's a gorgeous skirt! it's hard to find white/cream skirts with dark florals like that. it looks great with the green top! and Ariel looks bad ass restyled! She's my favorite and always has been. I wanted to be a mermaid so bad. Maybe that's why I was a swimmer. LOL.

They still had a lot of the floral dress at my Target, so let me know if you can't find one. Maybe they will have your size after your ban. Oh, I was going to tell you too...there is a FB group that is selling/swapping items at their normal prices. Not like on eBay. If you're interested, I can message you the link. :) <3
