OOTD // What Doesn't Kill You

Outfit Details:   Jacket & Kimono: Target   Shirt: TJMaxx   Jeggings: Debs   Boots: thrifted   Necklace: Vanity

This is what I wore yesterday to go shopping with some friends. The mall was packed! Guess everyone was doing their Christmas shopping. Thankfully, I've already got all mine done.

However, I found some new jewelry while I was there, which I'll debut on here soon enough. :)

Oh, so in case you're wondering, the title of this post is a song I've been listening to a lot lately. Its off Kelly Clarkson's new CD.
I've decided Kelly Clarkson and Taylor Swift have the best songs that represent both sides to love and life. Taylor sings about the syrupy romance all us girls long for. Then there's Kelly who puts quite bluntly how boys just suck sometimes.

In case you're wondering, I'm single. :b

I've only had one boyfriend, and I had to end things about 3 months ago. Its a very long story, but let's just say it was very bittersweet relationship and tough in the end. I found out the hard way how boys will lie, and it is a wise thing to guard your heart. However, I would not go back and erase one single moment we had. I learned a lot from our relationship, and just as Kelly Clarkson belts out, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger.

So some parting wisdom:

"What doesn't kill you makes you stronger
Stand a little taller
Doesn't mean I'm lonely when I'm alone
What doesn't kill you makes a fighter"

and
Proverbs 4:23
"Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life."
